One Month In

It has been about a month since I landed in Brussels and the Holy Spirit has been working overtime!

Our Jesus Revolution team of seven people has a full normal schedule:

- Weekly church services at Église Biblique de Namur
- Weekly bible classes at Continental Theological Seminary (CTS)
- Weekly street evangelism sessions
- Weekly Sabbath time (on Monday)
- Daily teachings on church planting, mission work and/or hermeneutics (love this new-to-me-word, defined as the study of the meaning of scripture in its Biblical context in order to make it hit home today)
- Daily hour of individual prayer
- Two-times weekly required group exercise sessions
- And all our own shopping, cooking and cleaning for the base

In addition, we have:

- Camped overnight as a team-building experience
- Volunteered at the Festival of Hope, where over 12,000 people attended a gospel crusade with Franklin Graham, the son of Billy Graham
- Attended two workshop events at CTS and even served as an interpreter from English to French
- Enjoyed an international meal with CTS students (I brought pancakes and guacamole)
- Gave our testimonies on the University of Mons campus

I am so grateful for all the experiences with the Lord that I am having. I have loved developing a conversational prayer time with Him (how come I didn’t know He was so funny until now!?). I have been humbled to learn how little I know about studying the Scripture. I have been inspired by other people’s testimonies. I have received prayer, prophecies, revelations, and worshiped until I am sure I have made a fool of myself. And it’s just the first month of this incredible year!

Upcoming Adventures:

Since I can’t be in Europe for some part of the year, the Jesus Revolution Belgium team is considering traveling through Canada and the USA during the months of February – April. We have not finalized the plans, so if you know of a church, campus student ministry and/or youth group that would like to have us share our testimonies, please reach out to me and let’s see if we can make it happen.

I also have time to pray, and it would be my honor to come alongside you and present your requests to God. Let me know how to believe with you!

Blessings,
Camera
